It seems I meet more and more people who are on a spiritual journey but are not real interested in "church". the concept of church is a meeting, a building, a religion, rituals and or traditions, pat answers, self-righteous people etc. etc. The stereotype or the negative experience has charged the word with meaning that is not attractive. Yet it seems most the world celebrates the person and the life of JESUS. For years I have been a part of the church and I even work for a church but I am calling folks everywhere to escape chruchiantiy and follow JESUS! He's not calling us to ritual and religion but relationship. He's not calling us to a weekly performance but to a daily dependence. He's not asking us to be something we are not but He's promising to enable us to be all we were meant to be. He's done all that needed to be done on the cross and he's overcome sin, and death and our adversary. He's calling us to a love revolution. Let's put neighbor back in our neighborhoods. Let's join HIM in loving and serving. Let's stop being churchians and be CHRISTIANS- not simply going to church but being the church- CHRIST followers, every day, every way we can. IT will make our ordinary lives extraordinary and fill our days with divine appointments and supernatural moments. AS we are going everyday let's escape churchianity and let's embrace the cross life of putting aside self and living to give. .....  Let’s be the church- not a weekly meeting or place but the fellowship of Christ followers, that army of good, loving, giving servants everyday everywhere bringing HIS PRESENCE. May GOD's grace and love and life OVERFLOW in and through us as we do

I even got to appear in the report.... pretty cool.

Hey everyone,

We had a great tript to Brazil this year but I got hit with a bug on my return. Being sick and having a lot of speaking and catching up to do made the month go too fast. We never did a newsletter. Brazil this year we took 20 people all together. We were there 3 weeks. It was awesome to see GOD touch the team and fire them up with the reality of HIS LOVE and POWER that is available for us here and now. The team was knitted together and connected with the folks at Igreja Allianca too. We saw GOD healing folks, touching hearts and lives like only he can. We also got to participate in the march for Jesus! ONE MILLION people marching the streets of Manaus for Jesus, culminating in a live worship experience with around 700,000 people. WOW! You can find the pics and blog info on facebook at BRAZIL 2012--CROSSROADS.

This year Lucinda stepped it up and was amazing as a translator. She also helped lead worship. SHe has really sensed a call on her life to lead mission teams and wow did she show the gifting for it this year. Dulce as always seems to transform in BRazil and just walks in such authority and is such a blessing! This year Izzy got a new job and had to stay home working and take care of the house. Talita and Matthew just got married in JUNE and have been busy in the job hunt and house hunt besides honey mooning..... They have both been blessed with jobs and have gotten off to such a great start. We thank God for adding Mathew Austin to the family. The rest of the summer is full of outreach, work and more trips for me. Lulu is training for pole vault and discuss and beginning her new job. Izzy works 3rd shift and puts in a full week on very little sleep it seems. Dulce is off for the summer but taking care of all of us. Please keep us in your prayers. We thank GOD for all of you! I will try and keep you all posted on out "doins". .

BLESS YOU!
