HAPPY THANKSGIVING YOU ALL!!!!
We haven't updated since feb 08 but we were in Brazil until Sept 08. We spent the last few months working thru the transition of leaving the youth group. I also did a trip to Africa for a leadership training conference. We trained up 20 people to help lead the group and haded it over in August. We also hosted a team of submissionaries from the USA then sold all our stuff and packed up and headed to the states to work with our home church as missions/ outreach pastors. Yes Jon finally got a "real job" as they say- with regular paychecks and everything. We have been blessed to live in a quiet neighbor hood too. Mo more living in the "hood". Though I miss some of the excitement I do enjoy the quiet and don't worry I have not lost the passion...
In the past year in the states. I visited Turkey, Iran, Morroco, and took ateam to Brazil. We sent teams to Honduras, China as well. We did outreaches in the states to New Orleans, Salt Lake city, Denver, and Chicago. Crossroads planted a new church campus and we did several local outreaches, some prayer walk training, a LOT of stuff... Here we are coming up on 2010 and looking at a pretty intense year. We are missing Brazil and Africa yet enjoying being near home and family here.

- Jon and Dulce Eastlick
- My wife and I have been in missions since 1983. God has graced us to respond to His great love over the years by serving Him in various ministry capacities. We have worked with youth, children and adults on 3 continents. We have learned languages and cultures In the USA, Africa, and Central and South America. We have visited many other countries and have worked with many denominations and people from all kinds of backgrounds. We have had the privilege of partnering with church plants in Mexico, Brazil, the states and in Africa. We have helped found a YWAM mission base, Discipleship Training Schools, a jail ministry, and Mission Freeport. We have assisted with or led dozens of short term mission teams in Latin America and Africa. Dulce has trained and raised up several worship teams. We currently lead cell groups and work on staff at a large growing church in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.
