Hey everyone! How are you! Oct./ 07

We have sent updates by email to most of you but unfortunately we have been unable to keep our blog updated. We no longer have high speed internet cable accessible to us and until that is resolved it is very difficult to work with photos and the blog. We will continue email updates until it gets resolved. Until then Look around the blog and see the pics and reports from the past year and then email us at joneastlick@yahoo.com if you are not already receiving our email updates.

We are currently handing over our cell groups to some of the new Pastors fresh out of seminary so they can care for them directly while we concentrate on leading leaders and discipling some of our youth leaders. We have a wonderful youth ministry team that is helping bring growth to the youth ministry and we believe will one day take over the ministry. We have an evangelism team that goes out to do street ministry every Saturday night and has grown from 5 people to more than 20. We will be preparing a mission team to go to Parintins soon and be letting you know how you can help send Brazilian missionaries to reach cities here in the interior.

Dulce is also teaching English classes and I am helping hook up youth with a new apprenticeship program sponsored by the government that will help them learn skills and get jobs. We also have been translating for a "seed the fire for revival" city wide crusade this week. We have seen many healings and manifestations fo God's power as folks respond to the word of God and give their lives to Him. It has really been encouraging and demanding at the same time just how we like it....

We are excited about the team from Augusta Georgia who will be coming with Pastor Brian to help us do a youth camp in the end of December and first week of January. We are busy making payments and improvements on the camp that God has blessed our church with to use for monthly encounter weekends and special events like the camp.

Izzy and Lulu are doing well in scho0l and enjoying it. God is beginning to use them in ministry and Izzy is getting quite good on the guitar. It was so cool to hear him say the other day that he likes it here now and he really is starting to enjoy himself, his school, his friends, and the things GOD doing in his life. Pretty Cool! I think he and Lulu are finally over culture shock and I really thank God for that.

Please do keep us in you prayers. Pray for our protection, God's direction, provision and blessings on us or relationships and our ministry. We so need and appreciate you prayers and support and often thank God for you praying for you the prayer in Eph 3:14-21. (see below)

Please consider us when you are able to give something extra because it will be invested in developing Brazilian missionaries and youth to do the work here and hopefully throughout the whole world. For giving credit just makes checks to Crossroads Community Church with a memo- "for the Eastlick's". You can Mail it to:
CCC
1668 Crossroads Ln.
Freeport, Il 61032

You will receive giving credit, a record of your giving, and we will receive notice.

Thanks all of you who are ALREADY PRAYING FOR AND GIVNG TO US and thanks to everyone for taking INTEREST IN WHAT GOD IS DOING IN and through our lives. Let us know when you want to come and see for yourself or join us! You are welcome.

Bless you guys sooooo much!

Love in Christ,

The Eastlick crew

our prayer for you:

Eph 3:14-21

" For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. "
